I have now packed up and got home from a really enjoyable pop up exhibition at Chester House in Northamptonshire. This was my Annual event with Northants and Rutland Open Studios.

Heres my recap!
Firstly ill say i had some AMAZING and super nice artists around me for the weekend, who also put in so much time, effort, and love into their own displays. Regardless of how things went, i had a lovely time with them all.
We had around 200-300 visitors over the 3 days and had some really lovely feedback as a whole, but also about our works individually. Which is always a bit special to hear in person- if not a bit awkward sometimes as usually we are sat alone!
Sadly, the visitors this time round did not equal sales. Which is quite a kick in the teeth when you put so much effort into producing the work, getting it all set up, working yourself up to put yourself in front of your work too including being open to a bit of critique (there were a couple haha!) let alone the costs associated with doing these events.
However it was not disheartening, some works were sold amongst the other artists and we all cheered for them when this happened! I found the whole event really supportive and still gained a lot of positives from taking part. It's still great to get out and about, show people your work and hear some nice words about them too.
So the brutal truth... i LOST money doing this. Quite a lot. So i have got a fair amount of stock i had produced for the event that is now back in my studio- and you know me, id rather it be in your homes!
Im going to pop below some ready mounted prints, some smaller originals, and some of my new
larger originals that are still up for grabs if anyone couldn't make the weekend and would like to take a look or maybe even consider purchasing. Pay in 3 is available on my site! Bonus.
Both the original here and LTD ed, hand finished prints are available!- the prints are printed to order, i finsihed the painting a day before the exhibition so actually there isnt a stock of these!
All three original cows are available, these are framed in hand made grey wooden frames, ready to hang! There are also mounted prints available of each. The originals will be on my site by the time this post is published.
I also have prints ready to go for both my pieces that are at Lamport Hall. The smaller kingfisher prints are mounted and ready to go. The larger Dove paintings are printed but unmounted.
The originals (i think) are still available at Lamport hall too. Really have to be seen in person to be appreciated!
Theres also a mix of older prints, and classic prints available too! heres some below, but do have a browse on my site for more.
Lastly, i would like to share the other artists who i had the pleasure of getting to know over the last few days. All so talented, so different, and very nice people :) Please take a look at their works too.
