A quiet reset...

The past year or so has brought a lot of change to my life...some expected, some not.
For quite a while (and you probably noticed) I stepped back from the art a little, took a fair bit of time, and let things settle while I have worked on other parts of life that needed to be focused on. But slowly, I’ve found my way back to the studio. Wahoo!
There’s something grounding about returning to the natural world through my work. It’s familiar, steady, and constant- even when everything else feels uncertain. Getting outside with my horses was the one steady thing I could hold onto. In particular the last few months have reminded me to step back and look at the simple things. One thing that always makes you feel better is getting outdoors into nature, especially now the sun is out a bit more (Although its hailing as i type this?!)
I think that’s reflected in what I’m creating now. Quieter pieces, more considered, with a bit of a dream world all mixed in.

As I prepare to move home and begin a new chapter, I’ve been spending time with both new work and pieces I’ve held onto over the years. Some of these originals carry a lot of meaning, but it feels like the right moment to let them find new homes.
If you’ve followed my work for a while or have ever felt drawn to a particular piece, this feels like a good time to go for it and grab what you might have had your eyes on.
